    Great service and weekday evening lunch was great

    Comfortable and clean rooms, okay buffet (lots of reconstituted food, like eggs and bacon) and very friendly, helpful staff. However, housekeeping didn't make up our room on the 3rd day (and, no, we did not have the DND tag on our door) and the place can get very noisy - we had people running up and down the halls with door slamming everywhere. Note that the hotel is close to the airport with a free shuttle, but NOT to St John's downtown area. That's about a $20 taxi ride down. Or you can take the bus for $2.50. To get to some other locations, such as Cape Spear lighthouse, consider renting a car.

    Newfoundland has the friendliest people. Great exercise facility. Friendly, helpful staff. Close to the airport and close enough to the client. Walking distance to Boston Pizza for a good meal. Wal Mart, grocery and other retaurants nearby.

    Friendly staff with clean, modern rooms. Pool and gym are a great touch. The free breakfast is one of the better breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel.

    Best hotel in all St. John's, free breakfast daily (real breakfast: eggs, bacon, waffles for kids). Monday - Thursday supper is severed (also great!!!). Staff is exceptional!! call for reservation it's better then booking online. Best place ever!!!!
