  One of the nicer large hotels in St John's with awesome views (depending on your room). Make sure you get a room that has been renovated.

  Swanky spot. Rooms are nice and clean. Comfy beds. The hotel has a great bar.

  The pool was a bit dirty and couldve been bigger. i only say this as the pool was where i spent most of my time there. everything else was lovely

  Sheets/comforter had a few dirty spots on the edges and one of the double beds' springs creaked a wee bit when moving. Air conditioning/heating unit can get noisy - I turned it off as the room didn't need it. Otherwise, the room was fairly generous in size (if a bit drab in the colour palette) and a quiet, comfortable sleep was had. The room price can get higher with the rather expensive hotel dining (21$ for breakfast). If you have the time, eat out - food in St. John's is plentiful, good and more affordable. I would have rated it a solid 4 stars were it not for the stains and slightly creaking bed.

  I love this hotel. The scent of the pool, the softness of the beds and sheets, everything about it is amazing. The hotel staff treat you like kings and queens and overall it is my favorite hotel experience.
