    Huge portions of very tasty and authentic Mexican food. Great atmosphere, and in my experience the staff have always been great.

    The restaurant is located on a slopey street where cars are parked perpendicular to the sidewalk. It's a nice location. The decor gives a good mexican food. It's a small and cozy restaurant. However, I went on a Tuesday night and I was the only customer. There wasn't any music, but at least the waitress was very friendly and cute. The minute I sat down, I was greeted with warm nachos and homemade salsa. She suggested the fish taco and it was delicious! It was a big portion and I had a lot left to take away with me.

    We loved Zapatas! Great food, Family owned, thoughtful menu and a great vibe! An absolute must try in St Johns. Nice to support a local business, Highly Recommend!
